“Well, my destiny is quite unusual,” - smiles Tamilla when one of the Consultants asks her to tell her Success Story for the millionth time.

Today Tamilla is sure that if you believe in yourself and are eager to become someone - you have to act. And then - even tomorrow - you may
find that you can even conquer Olympic heights!

In 1996 Tamilla started her business with Oriflame as a simple Consultant,
in a country where everyone knew that they could count only on themselves.
But even though she had never tried her luck running a business before - Tamilla was not just any Consultant!

Tamilla grew up in Riga, studied in a conservatory and at The University of Art and also worked in the theatre. And then perestroika, struck and with it the sense of instability and fear of losing everything that you had worked so hard to achieve. But to stop fighting is to stop living. Take one step at a time and realise that you can play many other parts in this life. Roles where you could be successful, rich, happy and self-assured - not only acting, but in reality. Together with her husband Vladimir, Tamilla took a fresh step into the scene of her new life; she stepped into the Oriflame opportunity by becoming one of the first Oriflame Consultants in Russia.

By building her team and teaching and developing her successful Leaders, Tamilla built the foundation of her business and with it her own system of studying, as in the beginning the direct sales industry was virtually in Russia. The first Consultants built their businesses on the basis of her knowledge, which is still widely used by today’s newcomers wanting to make career with Oriflame. The Success Ladder was extended four times and new titles had to be created especially for Tamilla. Before she came to Oriflame no one, not even management and Jonas and Robert af Jochnick themselves, could have ever imagined that this was possible.

Today Tamilla is the only Sapphire President in Oriflame world. There’s not one Consultant who doesn’t dream of one day following her success. Many people think she is a kind of a miracle - but when she hears that, Tamilla just smiles and repeats her mantra, “The sky is not the limit”. And she is certainly not about to stop, she goes on working actively, developing her team and teaching new people who dream of Oriflame opportunities.

Tamilla’s activity was not only appreciated by the company, but in 2007 Queen Silvia of Sweden granted Tamilla and Vladimir an audience and presented them with a diploma for their contribution to her charity. This was a unique meeting in Direct Sales history and of course a great honour for Oriflame.

Tamilla’s daughters, Margarita and Snezhanna, also work with Oriflame. Margarita leads a youth organization, with the help of which many young families and students have found jobs in Oriflame.

Who knows what tomorrow will bring? Tamilla - does! She knows that tomorrow will bring new meetings, new people, new Success Stories from all around the world - and above all, that tomorrow always brings new opportunities.
